Karina Slinin traveler, foodie, and Las Vegas’s newest restauranteur.

Karina will take influences from her travels and her Ukrainian heritage to open a caviar tasting restaurant in Las Vegas’s new Resort World

Karina became a foodie while traveling the world with her family and tasting cuisines all over the world.

Karina was born in Brooklyn, NY, and grew up in New Jersey. She has always been inspired by her entrepreneurial father Eduard Slinin who moved from Odessa, Ukraine, and started a worldwide transportation enterprise which he is now operating with his son, Robert Slinin. Karina decided to take her passion for her native food and bring it to life in her newest restaurant.

Caspy Caviar Bar, luxurious caviar and vodka tasting experience

With less than ten caviar-specific dining experiences worldwide, Karina was inspired to bring the food of her Ukrainian heritage to life. Caspy Caviar Bar will feature the highest quality and sustainably sourced caviar in the world and bring it to one place so guests can taste it all. Beluga, Sterlet, Kaluga hybrid, American osetra, Ossetra, Siberian sturgeon, Sevruga and much more will be available for flight tasting at her new restaurant. Guests of the brand new 10,000 room Resort World Las Vegas will go on a caviar and vodka tasting journey. The bar will be rich and moody with dark hues and gold access. The menu will also include unique salads, crude-style dishes, charcuterie and seafood. To design this menu she has brought in Michelin chef, Shaun Hergatt a classically trained creative modernist. Caspy Caviar Bar in Resort World Las Vegas is slated to open in late Summer 2021. Karina will be opening Caspy Caviar Bar in collaboration with Hergatt as well as her sister Suzanne Slinin.

Collaboration with Michelin chef, Shaun Hergatt

The restaurant received two Michelin stars and a 29 out of 30 Zagat rating and was awarded “Best New Restaurant” by both Esquire and New York Magazine. Hergatt received acclaim for his geographically-inspired dishes and was also recognized as “Best New Chef” by New York Magazine.

Education in the field

Right after graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Karina landed a position at Avra Madison a 300-seat authentic Greek restaurant located just steps from Central Park. Here she learned every aspect of restaurant work from front and back of house. From there she ended up at Vestry in Soho where she met Shaun Hergatt.
